It might be because of the location and language you are searching in. Because most people in the US and UK want a new source from their countries. Though in this case it is causing a problem.

Google (and most other search engines) are catered to your geographical location, so if you’re in the UK/US you’re probably not going to get Burmese papers coming up
I get the language thing, but the Irrawaddy’s in both burmese and english, they take great care to meticulously translate everything.
And if you do a google search in burma you’d get….the same papers.
It also doesn’t make sense because I can get pakistani articles on google….only when they’re saying the same ridiculous things. They don’t show up if they’re actually good article.
I am suspicious.
