Muslims in Burma Are Being Murdered

“90,000 have been burned out of their houses and are now hiding in jungles”

Oh my Allah, I was so unaware of this situation. Why does this not have any media coverage? I’ve also heard that over a thousand Muslims have been killed recently by Burma Buddhists.

It’s like the world has turned their backs.

The part where they’re crying for their lives…oh god.

Duas!!

I did not even know this was happening.

Why the hell is the media so quiet?

Canada announces embassy in Burma amid rush for country’s oil, natural resources

To answer that question (Why is there no media coverage?)- because they’d rather it be that way. Because the Burmese media is racist and hellbent on portraying them as savages, and the government has very, very firm control of information that goes in and out of Burma. Because the government has declared a genocide on their people and has no interest in helping the Rohingya, despite whatever they may go on about when talking about how they’ve ‘reformed’.

Because just like with everything else, the rest of the media is having fun portraying the issue as just one-sided without bothering to explain the history, and thus exploiting the people who then only know the bit that’s going on there that they’re being told.

Because people are intent ON only looking at a tiny fraction of the issue and then do things like ask people to sign petitions like the one going around a few days ago that asked the British government to involve themselves without looking at how that could only further hurt the Burmese because a lot of the issues started BECAUSE of foreign involvement, and how currently there’s a lot of countries- like Britain, and the US, looking to sink its claws into Burma.

And the way currently the Burmese government and the US are actually buddied up and that Burma is under US sanctions.

And why, only now, are people finding out about Burma? Why, only now, is the media is remotely interested in talking about Burma? I know you all think they aren’t, but really, same time last year, there was less them half the coverage there currently is on Burma.

And there’s even this much attention not for one reason, and one reason only, and it is because they want to get into my country, they want in- because oil. You want the media to cover Burma? They’ll do it. But they won’t cover it because they care.

They’ll cover the stories, and they’ll do it in such a way that it will play on people’s emotions so that they insist in intervention in Burma, which is except what those countries- in Europa and America- want, because they want to get in, and they want the oil.

Does that answer your question?
